ALL WATER BASED
COVID-19 brought about many things in this world, but it hit Three23 Woodworks especially hard. Through his own personal recovery, Chuck (the owner) made it a policy not to use chemicals in the shop that would be a hazard to future employees of the company or the environment. Therefore, we are proud to stand behind our choice of using water-based stains, clear-coats and paints. They are not the most convenient to work with, but the health benefits and end results justify the added wait times in drying.
COLOR
Ask about samples to some of our standard colors! We also offer paint or stain matching for projects of any size to ensure you get exactly what you're looking for and that it matches other items in the same space. While we can't guarantee a 100% perfect match because of varying factors outside our control (age of the wood, age of the previous finish, condition of finish, etc), we do guarantee you'll love your cabinets.
SHEEN
Picking the right sheen for your cabinets really is a matter of taste, but it will be literally the first thing people see when they look at your cabinets. The sheen offers a perceived texture of the finish that has become synonymous with quality. Some people like a flatter sheen while others like a high-gloss. When people see the difference between satin and semi-gloss, they tend to know instinctively which one they prefer. Our standard sheen on clear coats and paint (unless requested otherwise) is satin. Once a deposit is made and your project is scheduled, we will work diligently to ensure you achieve your goal of beautiful cabinets.
